Welcome to Kewanee Warehouse! We’re committed to providing a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all of our members. So, please be thoughtful and observe the Policies and Rules that you, and all members, have agreed to follow. Kewanee Warehouse may, in its sole discretion, modify the Policies and Rules without notice at any time. All approved signs posted on the premises shall be considered a part of the Policies and Rules of Kewanee Warehouse. 1. Age Requirement
· Members must be at least 18 years old to join. Anyone 14-17 years of age must have parental consent and be accompanied by a guardian.
2. Gym Hours
· Our facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, please note that staff are available during regular business hours for assistance.
3. Membership ID
· Always check-in with your membership fob, Barcode. Non-members are not allowed to access the gym at any time. Don’t let non-members into the gym! Violation of this rule will result in the automatic fine of $25 for each non-member let into the facility, charged directly to the offender’s account.
4. Personal Belongings
· The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items! Any items found in the facilities will be placed into lost and found and discarded on the 1st of every month.
5. Guest Policy
· All guests must purchase a day pass online or in person during regular office hours and must sign a waiver before using any equipment
6. Photos/Filming
· Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted without their prior knowledge and consent, and under no circumstances is any photography or filming permitted within the restrooms!
7. Weapons
· No weapons of any kind are permitted in the facilities.
8. No Personal Speakers
· Personal speakers or portable sound systems are not permitted in the gym. However, speakers played off your phone are allowed at a low volume, provided they do not disturb other members. Please be mindful of others and use headphones or earbuds if you prefer to listen to music or podcasts at a higher volume.
1. Clean up after yourself
· Please wipe down equipment after use with the provided disinfectant wipes. This helps us maintain a clean environment for all members.
2. Weight Equipment
· RE-RACK YOUR WEIGHTS! Always return weights to their proper racks after use. Re-rack dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells immediately after completing your set. Please do not rest your weights on any of the benches.
3. Noise Levels
· Please be mindful of others when using weights or equipment. Loud noises, dropping weights, or yelling can disrupt other members. Use equipment responsibly. Bringing in speakers and not allowed at any time!
4. Proper Attire
· Athletic shoes and appropriate workout attire are required. Shirts must be worn at all times. No sandals or open-toed shoes.
1. Personal Training
· If you are unfamiliar with equipment, please ask a staff member for assistance
2. Injury Reporting
· In the event of an injury or emergency, please notify a staff member immediately or call 911 if necessary. First aid kits are available at the front desk.
3. Emergency Procedures
· Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and fire extinguishers. In the case of a fire or emergency, evacuate immediately!
4. Surveillance
· For your safety and security, the gym is monitored by 24-hour video surveillance. Any suspicious behavior will be reported.
5. Cleanliness and Maintenance
· Our staff performs regular cleaning maintenance, but please report any broken or malfunctioning equipment as soon as possible via gym’s designated communication method.
1. Substance abuse
· The use of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances on gym premises is strictly prohibited.
2. Intimidation & Harassment
· We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
3. Disruptive Behavior
· Disruptive or unsafe behavior, including horseplay or inappropriate language, will result in a warning and possible membership termination.
4. Outside Equipment
· Kewanee Warehouse reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the facilities.
1. Membership Cancellation
· Cancel at any time by talking with a staff member or emailing Kewaneewarehouse@gmail.com
2. Refunds
· For monthly memberships, no refunds are issued for unused time.
By using the gym, you agree to follow these rules and policies. We thank you for helping create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all our members! If any member or guest violates any of the Policies or Rules, Kewanee Warehouse will ask that person to stop or leave. A member’s violation of any of the Policies or Rules may also cause Kewanee Warehouse, in its sole discretion, to terminate that person’s membership and/or other agreements.
